Description
Stops
Orthodontic stops were developed to restrict the movement of accessories such as springs and archwires; they can also be used to limit the movement of tooth sections.
When used on round or rectangular arches, the stops are fixed to the arch by deformation. Tweed 442 pliers can be used for fixing them.
Made from stainless steel, MIM manufacturing results in precise parts with an excellent surface finish.
- It avoids patient discomfort caused by the tips of the intraoral archwire;
- It facilitates the replacement with the next arch by identifying the position of the midline;
- Suitable for use with metal, ceramic, composite, and self-ligating brackets.
